 1. The Museum of the Moving Image is about films and the cinema. It is really interesting. It has examples of the first cameras and information on old film stars and the history of TV.

2. Bluewater is a huge shopping centre near London. It is one of the biggest centres in Europe. There over a thousand shops, so you can buy everything you want.

3.  The world-famous Hard Rock café is in the centre of London. It is a very big bar which is decorated with things from famous rock stars. You can also see the stars’ photos on café walls.

4. Legoland, a famous theme park, is in Windsor - near one of the Queen’s castles and about twenty minutes by train from London. You can walk round hundreds of models of famous places which are made of Lego.

5. The Tower of London is a Beautiful old castle in the centre of London, next to the river Thames. The castle is a thousand year old and is full of history. You can spend all day looking round the castle.

1. The six powerful Tudor kings and queens ruled England from 1485 till 1603. The most famous king was Henry III. It was one of the most exciting times in British history.

2. Rich Tudors lived in fine houses with many rooms and big windows. Poor country people lived in small wooden houses with mud floors/In the towns, the streets were narrow and gloomy.

3.  Wealthy people and noblemen owned land or even helped the King or Queen to rule the country. Most people, however, were poor and worked in the countryside. Slightly richer people worked as craftsmen or merchants in the town.

4. Rich people had quite unhealthy diet as they ate lots of very salty meat. They ate very little fruit, vegetables, milk, butter and eggs.

5. It was a law that every man had archery practice every Sunday morning. Rich people liked to fence and play tennis while ordinary people played games like bowls, football or went to the theatre. William Shakespeare lived in Tudor’s times.
