Main aims

To extend range of vocabulary on the topic ‘Weather’ to revise ‘should’, to have conversation practice in ‘going to’ & “I’ll..’

Subsidiary aims

Students revise the vocabulary of the topic

Listening to the dialog & reading it.

Present Continuous (Future meaning) – Going to - Will

Assumptions

Students know the adjectives connected to weather and items of clothes, can use ‘should’, know Future Simple & Present Continuous, can read the dialog in pairs.

Anticipated problems

Students may have difficulties in  their own practice about what to wear in different kind of weather

We may not have enough time to learn Present & Continuous (future meaning)

Possible solutions

Watch the video ‘What should I wear?’ in order to have practice & revise ‘should’ before using Future Simple ‘I’ll wear my boots’, use prompts from the book & the screen.

Explain Present Continuous (future meaning)  at the beginning of the next lesson
