There are many cities and towns in the Russian Federation. Among them we know very beautiful and famous cities such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Suzdal , Kaluga and others. But there are more towns and villages we know nothing about them. Perhaps they are small and unknown, but they are close to heart of their citizens. We are sure that every city, town and village has its beauty and attractions.

Krasnoe is a small village in Belgorod region. It is our home and we adore it. Village Krasnoe was found ed in 1659. There lived military people and peasants. Krasnenskiy district was formed in 1991. Now it is a modern, developed and clean district. It contains 15 big and small villages. It is a wonderful place to live in! Krasnenskiy district is rich in historical, cultural, sport and natural sightseeings .

During the Great Patriotic War there were hard battles on the territory of the district. Krasnoe preserves the best of the past. There are some memorials, which reminds us about our great victory. One of them is the communal grave of dead warriors in Krasnoe .

People are friendly, generally kind to each other, patient, generous and well-bread. More than that, they are optimistic because everything is for citizens in Krasnoe . In the centre of Krasnoe you can observe a new wonderful church. It is the Church of St. Ilya . Firstly it was built in 1774, people came here to pray, but during the Great Patriotic War it was converted into a hospital, then it became a recreation centre. In 1991 it became the church again.

Krasnoe is a village of high culture. There is a recreation centre. People of all ages can realise their talents. We have a folk music ensemble “ Krasnyanochka ” and band “ Dontsy ”. Their concert programmes are bright and colourful show.

Besides, children and adults go in for sport to our stadium which is very well-equipped. Especially for our needs in 2012 the new, modern and well-equipped Sport Centre was opened. All year round they are full of trainings, local and district sport competitions in football, volleyball, basketball, tennis and so on .

Of course, Krasnoe is the best place in the world to live in. First of all, it is very well kept and organized. That’s why it’s incredibly clean and green most of the year. There are nice parks and beautiful ponds in Krasnoe .

More over there is an attractive Recreation area near Krasnoe . One of the sightseeings of Krasnoe is its forest. The beauty of the district unfolds when you see it. It provides peace and solitude while you are going through the forest. It is rich in different plants and animals. Some of the plants are very rare in the nature, for example a little yellow tulip and scilla sibirica . When you go through the forest in April, you can see the ground covered with fantastic blue flowers, it is like a mysterious carpet. You may spend time with children there. It pleases the eyes. Thanks to the forest we have good environment and low pollution.
