Тема урока: Экскурсия по Лондону.

Цель урока: 

закрепление  полученных лексических навыков  по теме «London», отработка умений и навыков по их применению.

Образовательная задача: закрепить пройденный лексический материал, продолжать формировать у учащихся навыки общения .

Развивающая задача: развивать у учащихся навыки монологической, устной  и диалогической речи и умение систематизировать полученные знания по данной теме.

Воспитательная задача: воспитывать у учащихся интерес к английскому языку, уважение к культуре и традициям страны изучаемого языка, воспитывать умение работать в коллективе и слушать друг друга.

I . Орг. момент.

Good morning, my friend. Nice to meet  you. Let’s greet each other!

How are you today? Do you like today’s weather? Let’s speak a little about today’s weather. Look at your shoulder partner and then at your face partner and tell a few words about today’s weather. Numbers 4 raise your hands please, I want you to tell us about today’s weather.

II. Речевая разминка

1) - Today we will have an unusual lesson. We’ll have a trip to London. The topic of our lesson is “An excursion to London”.

So the aim of our lesson is to get as much information about London as possible.

Boys and girls, look at the board.

-This is the motto of our lesson:

The more you live, the more you travel,

The more you travel, the more you see,

The more you see, the more you learn.

2) Проверка дом.задания.

Before we start our lesson, let's check your home task. If I'm not mistaken your task was to learn the irregular verbs. So now let’s do Round Robin. You are to name the verbs that you have learnt. The first will be the student who has longer hair.

Ok, boys and girls. Great job. Now I want № 3 to raise their hands.

III. Активизация умений и навыков монологической речи

 Let`s do  Talking Mat .

Write down as many words or phrases as you can  about London . Do it individually and without any verbal communication . I will give you 5 minutes think time .

-Ok . Great . Teams move from table to table  to work on other Talking Mats to make connections  with the existing words or pose questions that are related to an idea. I will give you 3 minutes .

-Well done. Now teams discuss inputs  and conclude by writing down the answeres to the questions and elaboration on the points.

-And now teams demonstrate the Talking Mat, please .

1V. Развитие навыков диалогической речи

- Look at the screen. I prepared one more task for you. So you can see a dialogue, but the phrases are mixed in it. You are to make it in right order.( Rally Robin)First of all, think over it and then look at your face partner and play the dialogue)

Диалог -

- You are welcome. Have a nice day.

- Good. Go along that street it will lead you to Trafalgar Square.

- Yes, I can.

- Oh, it’s very easy. Can you see that wide street over there?

- Thank you very much.

- Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to Trafalgar Square.

V. Закрепление лексики по теме

You can see a little envelopes on your table. The 1st  task will be to match the words. It is the names of the sights of London.
