Цель Викторины:

Привлечение внимания детей  к важности и актуальности изучения английского языка.

 Задачи :

• Расширение кругозора и знания о Соединенном Королевстве Великобритании и Северной Ирландии .
• Развитие у школьников конкурентного духа и лидерских качеств.
• Выявление у детей осведомленности о культуре, истории, особенностях жизни Великобритании.
• Развитие у школьников творческих способностей.
• Выявление наиболее одаренных учащихся, создание условий для более полного раскрытия их способностей.

Let`s divide into two teams.

Each team must include   7  people .

The Quiz  consists of 5 rounds.

1. The first round

You have to make up (think out ) the name of your group.

Answer my questions. For every right answer you`ll get one score.

8. Is Great Britain smaller and bigger than France? ( GB is half the size of France)

9. What is the name of the British national flag? (the Union Jack )

10.  What is the name of the Welsh national flag? (the Saint David’s Cross )

11. When is the national day of Wales ? (1st of March)

12. When is the national day of England?(23rd of April.)
