Dear Barbara,

Thank you for your letter. I really miss you, too. I think it’s a great idea to visit you in London.

This summer I was in the country. I was very lucky. The weather was fine all the time. My friends and I spent a lot of time outdoors swimming, diving, riding our bikes and skateboarding. We also enjoyed picking berries and gathering mushrooms in the nearest forest.

In the evening we usually made a fire, played the guitar and sang songs

With lots of love and best wishes from me and my friends.

It was my birthday yesterday. It was fantastic! It started like a usual day: I got up at 7 in the morning and had breakfast. At 8 a.m. my granddad came round. He took me to Alton Towers! It’s a fantastic funfair in the center of England. How I love it! We sang together with funny characters at the children’s show. We went up and down on the helter-skelter. We saw an old castle and had a walk in the beautiful gardens. A storyteller told us a fairy tale. In the Black Hole I sat in a space. I was an astronaut. Finally, I won a teddy bear because I was good at a game. I keep it in my room on the sofa. I took some photos. I had a great time!
