«Великая страна – Россия»

План урока

Цель урока: Активизация пройденного лексического материала по теме "Победы Российской армии".                                                                                                         Продолжительность урока – 45 минут.                                                                              

Задачи урока:

• Учебные: 

• повторение и закрепление активной лексики по теме «Победы Российской армии»;
• формирование навыков чтения;
• формирование навыков аудирования;

• Развивающие: 

• развитие коммуникабельности, самостоятельности, умения сотрудничать, развитие способностей к логическому изложению
• развитие внимания.

• Воспитательные: 

• развитие мотивации к изучению английского языка

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент      

Teacher: Hello, children! How are you today? I’m glad to see you. Let's begin our lesson. Today we'll talk about our country as the greatest country in the world.

2. Фонетическая зарядка

At first, let’s do a phonetic exercise. Say after me:                                                  

[w]  [m]   [i] [e]  [b] [ai]                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

War, army, win, against, battle, die, kill, victory, weapon

Учащиеся повторяют хором, затем по отдельности.

3. Повторение лексики.                

Teacher: And now let’s revise some words. The first task – read the words and underline the odd ones. Ученики по одному выходят к интерактивной доске и подчеркивают слова, которые не подходят по смыслу.

Underline the odd word.

1. war, army, win, swimming
2.  diving, against, battle, die
3. kill, reading, victory, weapon
4. officer, soldier, football, ruins

Следующее задание – составить предложения с этими словами по структуре «Tic-tac-toe» и проговаривание предложений по структуре – «Continuous Robin».

4. Формирование навыков чтения

Teacher: And now let’s read the story about the war of 1812. The title of the story is Russia in the war of 1812.

Ученики читают рассказ про войну в 1812 году.

Russia in the war of 1812

 It happened in 1812. Russia was in great danger. Napoleon and his army were moving towards Russia. Napoleon wanted to conquer Russia as practically all of Europe now depended on him, Russia did not. Napoleon was sure he could easily win the war against Russia.

At the beginning of the war, the Russian army was moving back, leaving Russian lands for the enemy. Napoleon’s army was stronger and there were more soldiers in it. Though Russian soldiers and officers fought bravely they couldn’t win the battles against the enemy. Napoleon was moving to Smolensk – the “key city” of Russia. Russian people called Smolensk the “key city” because it locked the road to Moscow.

In August 1812, the two armies had a terrible battle in Smolensk. A lot of people were killed on both the sides. There was no food in the city. The Russian army left Smolensk in ruins. The people of Smolensk left the city along with the Russian army.

Napoleon’s army came into the empty city of Smolensk but couldn’t find anything in it. They left Smolensk and began to move to Moscow.

Russia was in danger as never before. That’s why the Russian tsar, Alexander I invited the famous Russian general Michael Kutuzov to become the head of the Russian army.

Kutuzov decided to give a fight to Napoleon. He chose the field near the settlement of Borodino for the battle. On the seventh of September 1812 the famous battle began. It was the greatest fight between the Russian and French armies. The Russian soldiers were ready to die but not to move back. They fought for the independence of their country. They couldn’t imagine their Motherland under Napoleon – under the enemy.

The famous battle of Borodino was the beginning of Great Victory over Napoleon in the war of 1812.

5.Выполнение заданий по тексту.

 Agree or disagree.

1. Napoleon conquered Russia in 1812.

2. There was a war between Russia and France in 1812.

3. Napoleon was sure he could easily win the war against Russia.

4. Napoleon’s army was stronger than the Russian army at the beginning of the war.

5. Smolensk was the main city of  Russia.

6. When Napoleon came in Smolensk he got the key to Moscow.

7. The battle of Borodino was the greatest battle in the war of 1812.

6. Формирование навыков монологической речи.                                                               Teacher: Very well, and now let’s talk about what you know about this war. Maybe you can add some interesting facts about this war.

Учитель может задать наводящие вопросы ученику:

Say why the Russian people called Smolensk the “Key city”.

Have you read any Russian books about the war of 1812? Have you heard anything about this war? What other famous people from this time can you  remember? What can you say about them?

Tell your classmates everything you know about the war of 1812.

7. Формирование навыков аудирования

Teacher: Very well, you are very clever. And do you want to listen to our Russian famous song of  the war time but only in English? I think all of you know this song. The song is called Katusha. OK, let’s go! Listen to the song.  Учащиеся слушают, а затем исполняют ее.

Apple trees and pear trees were a flower,

River mist was rising all around.

Young Katusha went strolling by the hour

On the steep banks,

O’er the rocky ground.

By the river’s bank she sang a love song

Of her hero in a distant land.

Of the one she’d dearly loved for so long,

Holding tight his letters in her hand.

Oh, my song, song of a maiden’s true love,

To my dear one travel with the sun.

To the one with whom Katusha knew love,

Bring my greetings to him, one by one

Let him know that I am true and faithful,

Let him hear the love song that I send.

Tell him as he defends our home that grateful,

True Katusha our love will defend.

8. Заключительный этап.                                                                                                      

Teacher: Well, it was my pleasure to work with you today. And your home task for the next lesson will be to write everything you know about the war against Napoleon in1812.

Учитель объясняет домашнее задание – написать все, что они знают о войне 1812 года и оценивает работу учащихся на уроке.

Teacher: This is all for today. Thank you, my dear friends and good bye.
