Внеклассное мероприятие на английском языке.  

Основной целью обучения иностранному языку в школе является формирование коммуникативной компетенции. Для реализации этой цели учитель должен создавать ситуации мотивированного общения учащихся между собой на изучаемом языке. Процесс общения подразумевает установление и развитие контакта между учениками, порождаемый потребностями в совместной деятельности и  включающий  в себя обмен информацией и понимание собеседника. Наилучшей формой создания коммуникативных ситуаций является игра –соревнование. Игра может проводиться непосредственно на уроке иностранного языка, например, на этапе обобщения или контроля знаний, но наиболее ярко и полно этот метод обучения раскрывается во время внеклассных мероприятий.

Мною разработано внеклассное мероприятие для учащихся 7 -8 классов для проведения Дня Святого Валентина.  Основными задачами проведения игры является

– создание творческой атмосферы, активизирующей познавательный процесс,

- развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся,

- обогащение лексического запаса,

- развитие диалогической и монологической речи,

-развитие навыков аудирования,

- развитие речевой догадки,

-воспитание уважения к чужому мнению.

Для проведения игры выбираются команда девочек (4 человека ) и команда мальчиков (4 человека), ведущий, жюри и зрители, которые тоже активно участвуют в игровом процессе. Мальчики не должны видеть, девочек, которые принимают участие в игре, а девочки – мальчиков. Обе команды встречаются на  сцене, только во время финального конкурса.  В результате игры должна сформироваться пара (девочка и мальчик), основанная на игровом выборе.  

Начинает праздник ведущий, который  и объявляет правила.

1. Hostess is starting the party.

Dear friends! Well our party is about to start and we have some fun activities in store for making friends.  

We have 6 participants  - 3 girls and 3 boys. Neither the girls nor the boys know who’s playing. So let’s meet our participants! Welcome girls!!!  (music 1)

The first lady’s name is –

The second lady is –

The third lady is - .

That’s your place girls. Take your seats.

Now let’s welcome the boys in!!! (music 2) The boys are coming in.

 (The boys show the names on the plates  and sit down at the special boys’ place. There is a partition between the boys and the girls, so they cannot see each other.)

 We will try to figure out how many similar thoughts and interests you have with each other and so decide who might be the best of friends.

Now let’s meet our judges!

The boys and girls should ask the judges some questions about love.

2. It’s time for our first topic - Style icons. 

Take a second to think about your  personal stylistic tastes.

Is there a certain celebrity that you try to look like?

Look at the screen and choose a celebrity based on the criteria from our list. Are you ready? Ladies first.

(They should write it down on paper.  Then the boys do the same. An assistant fixes the plates with names on it to the magnet board.)

Everyone should to explain their choice.

I ‘d love to be  like…

I’m not sure but …. seems to be at the top of the list.

I guess …. is the best.

Now for the boys. Who thinks the same way? Who agrees with …..  Nobody shares ….’s opinion.

(The judges put  their decisions down.)

3. The second competition   - Guess the song.

On Valentine’s Day there is a wonderful tradition of singing love songs. Such songs were popular even in the Middle Ages. At that time few people could read or write. Lovers usually sang their valentines to their sweet ears. Now we’ll listen to some lovely Valentines!

Boys first – Listen to the song and try to guess what it is. If you know the answer say “stop” and listen to the next one.

Now it’s the girls’ turn.

After the competition is complete, the judges put down the results. Who gave similar/the right answers?

4. A game for for everyone, for fans. - Make a love story.

I’m giving you 3 pieces of paper with which to write a love story.

Fold one sheet in half and write down your answer. Then fold it the like this and pass it to your neighbor. Your neighbor will then answer the next question, fold the paper and pass it on. The last person gives the paper back to me and we’ll read your story out loud.

1. Write a boy’s name with a brief description of him.
2. Write a girl’s name with a brief description of her.
3. Write about where and how the two of them met.
4. What did he say to her?
5. What did she say to him?
6. What was his reply?
7. What happened next?
8. What was the reaction of the people who knew them?
9. What was the result of all this?

Different games are very popular at Valentine parties. Now let’s play special games!

6. Help yourself!

Another tradition of St. Valentine’s Day is making special cakes. Let us see what cakes our participants baked for today’s party! The girls present their cakes and then leave the room.

The boys taste the cakes and decide which are the best.

7. Sending SMS

The girls should be appreciated for their cakes. The boys have to send an sms to the girl whose cake he liked best.

We have prepared text for sms and suggest them to our boys. Choose one of them and sent it.

Here is the list of the girls’ numbers.

We are waiting to hear which phone is ringing.

8. Flower competition

We inform the boys of all results of previous competitions so they can come to the girl’s room and give them a flower.

9. A game for supporters.

Of course you know a lot about famous lovers: Romeo & Juliet, Cleopatra & Mark Antony – There are lots of wonderful love stories in the world. Now look at these lists of names. Here are men’s names & there are ladies, many of them famous couples:

1. The Final Part – Questions

The couple with the highest number of matched answers wins and are called the 'Perfect Match'.

2.  Present the winners.  –to award, to give a prize.

Well, our traditional Valentine’s party has come to the end. What a lovely day it was!
