Открытый урок по английскому языку в 6 «А» классе по теме:

Учитель: Певченко Лариса Викторовна

Цели: 1. Развитие речевых умений.

  1. Формирование навыков устной речи на базе чтения.
  1. Развитие творческой инициативы учащихся, их самостоятельности и активности.

Задачи:

1 .Тренировать учащихся в чтении.

2.Совершенствовать монологическую и диалогическую речь.

3.Развивать умение извлекать информацию из текста. Совершенствовать произносительные навыки.

Воспитательная:

Воспитывать бережное отношение к животным, чувство сострадания к ним.

Оснащение урока:

Учебник английского языка для 5-6 классов общеобразовательных учреждений при начале обучения со 2 класса « Enjoy English» - 3 (авторы: М.З. Биболетова, Н.В. Добрынина, H.H. Трубанёва); картинки по теме « Животные» ; карточки с заданием к тексту «London Zoo» ; пословицы по теме «Животные»; магнитофон со звуковым заданием.

Ход урока.

I.        Начало урока. Приветствие. Введение в тему.

Т:   Good morning, children. I am glad to see you. Take your places.

The theme of our lesson is «London Zoo».

We live in a world that is full of the beauty of nature.

Animals are the part of that natural world.

We'll learn some interesting facts about animals.

We'll speak and read the text about London Zoo.

We'll read the poem «My Dream».

And now let's begin.

II.        Фонетическая зарядка.

T: I want you to open your student's books page 103, ex. 2 and ex. 3. Children listen to the tape and repeat after the tape.

III. Речевая зарядка.

T: Children look at the blackboard. You see some animals. I will read you some riddles. Try to guess the name of the animal and write down it in your exercise-books and under the picture on the blackboard. Open your exercise-books, write the date and the theme of our lesson. There are some new words in these riddles. Look here, please. And now listen to me.

  1. The animal is very timid and afraid of everything, (a hare)
  2. It has a very long neck and four long legs, (a giraffe)
  3. The animal can go without food and water for a long time, (a camel)
  4. It looks like a horse with black and white stripes, (a zebra)
  5. It is the king of the animal world, (a lion)
  6. The animal likes honey and fish. It sleeps all winter in a den. (a bear)
  7. It can swim in the water and walk on land. It has a very big mouth and teeth, (a crocodile)
  8. It's very long. It hasn't any legs. It eats small animals. It can be very dangerous.

IV. Развитие навыков монологической, диалогической речи и чтения с полным пониманием прочитанного.

Т: You are good at listening. And now answer my questions, please.

-What famous zoo in Britain do you know?

T: Agree or disagree with me.

-Exotic animals were first taken to Britain in the fifteenth century. -The animals lived in a Tower of London in a special place. -The bear liked swimming in the Thames.

-Queen Charlotte kept the first zebra near the Houses of Parliament. -The giraffes were moved to Regent's Park. -There are few exotic animals at London Zoo.

V. Физкультминутка.

T: And now open your student's books page 107, ex. 14. You see the poem "My Dream". Children, listen to the tape. Read the poem and translate it. And now say if you agree with this poem.

Good. And now open your diaries, write down your homework, please. You'll learn at home the poem "My Dream" by heart.

VI. Занимательное задание.

T: Do you know proverbs about animals? Look at this board, read the English proverbs about animals and give Russian equivalents.

1. To kill two birds with one stone.

2. Убить двух зайцев.

3. Every dog has his day.

P: It's London zoo.

T: Yes, you are right. London Zoo is one of the best in the world.

-Where is it located? P: It's located in the Regent's Park.

T: There are many thousands of exotic animals at London Zoo. And what do you know about it?

PI: London has a very fine old Zoo. Many children with their parents and friends visit it every day. The Zoo is in a large park which is not far from the centre of London. Many old trees grow in the park and in spring, summer and autumn there are a lot of beautiful flowers there too.

P2: The Zoo is open every day from 9 o'clock in the morning to 7 o'clock in the evening. People who wants to go there can go by bus or by the underground. A lot of buses go to the different sides of the park.

P3: Many kinds of animals live there: elephants, giraffes, sea-lions and polar bears, brown bears and foxes and big and little monkeys. There are many different kinds of birds there too. Some of them have very beautiful bright colors.

P4: A good time to visit the animals when they take their food. You can see how the sea - lions catch their fish. The man who looks after the animals sometimes throws a fish into the water and then the sea - lions jump into the water and get the fish there.

P5: It's also interesting to watch how the big birds eat their meat and how the monkeys eat fruit. In the large monkeys house you can see different kinds of monkeys. They jump, run and play with each others. In the park there are camels. Children love to sit on a camel's back. They also like to watch the elephant when he washes himself in the morning. It puts water on its back and men with long brushes make him very clean.

T: That was very interesting! I can see that you know very much about London Zoo and animals. And now let's read the text about London Zoo on page 106 ex.10. It's a very interesting text. You'll learn some more interesting facts about London Zoo.

Your reading was very good, children. And now we'll do some tasks to this text. You have the cards on your tables. Find in the text English equivalents for the Russian word combinations and write down them in your exercise-books.

T: And now the famous reporter from London will come to us and ask us some questions. Are you ready to answer the questions?

C: Hello, boys and girls. I am glad to see you. You are so nice today. I want to know about zoos in your country and animals there. Be so kind to answer my questions, please.

1.1 visit London Zoo very often and I like it. And you? Do you like to go to the zoo?

  1. Have you been to Moscow Zoo?
  2. What kind of animals can I see at Moscow Zoo? 4.1 like monkeys very much. Can I see them there?

  1. Can people visit the Zoo every day?
  2. Can I take my dog into the zoo?
  3. Can I take any of the baby animals home with me?
  4. Do you have any zoo in your region?

Dear boys and girls, thank you very much. That was very interesting. I learnt a lot of useful information about Moscow Zoo. Good bye!

VII. Подведение итогов.

T: People should help animals. What should we do?

PI: We should love animals.

P2: We should take care of animals.

P3: We should look after domestic animals.

P4: We should not forget that it is better for wild animals to live in the wild.

P5: We must be real friends of the animals in any situation.

T: We have spoken a lot today about London Zoo and animals. You worked very hard. I'm quite satisfied with your work at the lesson. And your marks are.... Thank you for the lesson.
