Урок :  Let’s protect the nature. 7 класс.

Данный урок рекомендуется проводить после изучения темы’’ Nothing is forever’’ как урок-обобщение.

Цели и задачи урока:

Развитие навыков чтения.

Развитие навыков  аудирования.

Развитие навыков устной речи.

Отработка и употребление лексики по теме.

Отработка грамматического материала: употребление определенного артикля the с названиями планет и с понятиями единственными в своем роде.

Расширение кругозора учащихся и воспитание чувства ответственности        за окружающую их среду.

Оборудование: магнитофон с аудио кассетой с записью песни “Save the environment!”, картинки с изображением различных пейзажей (небо, моря, реки, леса, горы).

Ход урока:

1. Начало урока. Организационный момент.
2. Вступительное слово учителя (перед учащимися изображения различных пейзажей).

-Children, look at the pictures in front of you. Do you like them? I think they are really wonderful: blue sky, seas and oceans, rivers and lakes, forests, fields, mountains and hills. This is our environment. So, today we are going to speak about nature, animals, plants, the atmosphere. We should answer to main questions of the time:

a. Is the ecological situation really so dangerous?

b. How can we protect the environment?

We ‘ll think how to protect our planet, how to take care of the environment.

Well, let’s start our lesson.

3. Фонетическая зарядка.

Listen and repeat the words and then translate them into Russian: rubbish, litter, dump, a fine, fur coat, public transport, the atmosphere, camping, campfire, pooper scooper, plant, forest, river, sea, ocean, to recycle, to pollute, to protect, to focus.

4. Речевая зарядка.

And now tell me, what does the word environment mean to you. Use these words oceans, rivers, seas, lakes, forests, animals, cars, plants, cities, people, schools and teachers, parents, sky, houses.

5. А сейчас, ребята, давайте поговорим об экологической ситуации.Let’s

describe the ecological situation.

Ребята рассказывают о состоянии экологии.

Примеры высказываний:

1. I want to tell you about water pollution. The situation is really gloomy. Rivers, lakes, seas, oceans cover more than 70% of our planet.
2. Over 5 million tons of oil products pollute the oceans each year. About 2 million tons of these products come from cars. Pollution means death of oceans. It kills fish, plants, birds. Experts think life in oceans will be destroyed within 25 years.
3. Different animals are in danger. Some of them can disappear. People kill o lot of animals for their skins and meat. There are fires in forests. They cut down plants.

Учитель: Вы видите, ребята, что ситуация действительно опасная. А теперь давайте послушаем, как люди стараются заботиться об окружающей среде. Послушайте текст про “Красную книгу” и ответьте на вопросы.

Answer to the text:

-What do red pages mean? (ответ: Help!!!).

-What do yellow pages mean? (ответ: Reduce).

-What do green pages mean?  (ответ: It is OK.).

6. Защита окружающей среды это задача всего человечества. Существует очень много организаций, которые занимаются защитой окружающей среды.

Protection of the environment is an universal task. Do you know any international organizations which try to help the nature? Today we have some guests from Great Britain. They are representatives of different ecological groups.

В роли гостей выступают сами учащиеся. Другие дети слушают небольшие тексты про экологические организации в Великобритании и в Лондоне, про Всемирный День Земли.

And now answer the questions:

-How many ecological groups are there in Britain?

-How many groups are there in London?

-When is the Earth Day?

7. Молодцы ребята. Давайте сейчас немного отдохнем и споем песню.

Well done. Let’s sing a song “Save the environment!’’

8. А теперь мы поговорим о проблеме защиты окружающей среды в Англии и в России.

First tell how people in England take care of the environment.

Ответы учеников:

-People in England sort their rubbish.

-They never drop litter in the streets. If somebody sees that, you have to pay a fine.

-They never forget to turn the light and water off.

-They clean up after their dogs.

-If they don’t- the fine is 50 pounds.

-Winters in England are not very cold and nobody wears fur coats.

-When they go camping their never make campfires. They use camping stoves.

And now let’s see how do people in Russia take care about the environment.

Answer my questions:

-Do we sort our rubbish?

-Are there any fines in Russia for litter?

-What can you say about water and light in Russia?

-Will pooper scoopers be popular in Russia?

-Do people in Russia wear fur coats?

-Why do they wear them?

-What can you say about camping in Russia?

9. Отработка грамматического материала.

Let do some grammar exercises.

Write the, a or - /no article

– A lot of factories pollute… atmosphere.

-I like to watch … moon in … sky.

Complete the sentences with the words:

10. Подведение итогов.

И так ребята мы сегодня поговорили об очень большой проблеме. Это забота об окружающей среде.  Давайте сделаем вывод о том, как мы можем заботиться о нем. И ответим на вопросы, которые были поставлены начале нашего урока:

1 Is the ecological problem really so dangerous? What do you  think?

2 How can we protect the environment?
