1. Организационный момент, приветствие.

-Good afternoon, dear children! I’m really glad to see you! Please, sit down! My name is Ekaterina Igorevna and today I’m your English teacher.

2. Речевая разминка.

-First of all let’s speak a little. Answer my questions, please.

1. What’s your name?
2. What’s his name?
3. How old are you?
4. Where are you from?
5. Where is he from?
6. What is your nationality?
7. Do you like to go to the cinema?
8. Do you like to go to the swimming-pool?

-Look at this picture, please! What are they doing?

3. Постановка цели урока, введение нового лексического материала.

-Today we haven’t got a usual lesson but we are going to travel to a beautiful country, to India. We are going to speak about their holiday, Festival of Lights or Diwali.

4. Open your books, p.50 and there are some worksheets on your tables. Look at them. There are new words here. First of all let’s find them in this text.
