Having a Wonderful Time...

Dear Ann,

I am having a great time. We are in a beautiful town called Alanya. It is on the south coast of Turkey. The hotel we are staying at is nice and quiet. It's got a lovely swimming pool.

The weather is hot and sunny. Right now, 1 am sitting on a beautiful beach. Dad is learning to scuba-dive. Peter is snorkelling in the clear water, as usual. He is looking for some shells to take home. Mum is buying souvenirs at the market. She loves shopping. My aunt and uncle are visiting some ancient places. They enjoy taking photographs of old buildings.

Every day we have lots of things to do. In the morning we go water-skiing or play water sports. In the evening we go to a disco.

Alanya is a wonderful place for a holiday. It has some lovely restaurants. My favourite one is by the sea. Mum and Dad always order seafood. After dinner we usually go for a walk around the town. I love it here so much, I never want to leave!

Oh well, that's all for now.
