OTHER, ANOTHER or THE OTHER? ‘ Another’ 1)=additional amount, one more person or thing e.g. I’m going to have another (= one more) piece of cake. 2)= different, a different person or thing e.g. Do you want to exchange this toaster for another (= different one) (one)? another + number + plural noun = “ more ” It will take another ten minutes (= 10 more minutes) to finish the job .

A fairy tale about indefinite pronouns

Someday, Somebody had to do something. But he used to do every work only sometimes and somewhere. And he went to find some help.

He was going, and going and going and he had met somebody. It was Nobody. "Can you help me?" – Somebody asked him, and Nobody said: "Everything I can do is only nothing and usually I do it no how, and no more. I can't help you".

 "Let's come together" – said Somebody, and they were going, and going and going and had met Anybody. They asked him: "Can you help us?"  Anybody said: "I can do only anything and not anymore, but only anywhere".

 And they did anything, but there was some work to do. And they went straight ahead, and had gone a little distance, and met Everybody.

 "Can you help us?" – asked they. And he said:  – "Of course! I can do everything and everywhere. It is my everyday job. And he had done everything and all of them were happy.

             Oh! If everyone can do everything!
