Тема урока Hobbies. Reading Books.  

Тип урока Актуализация изученного и введение нового лексического материала

Оборудование:  аудиокурс, компьютер, интерактивная доска, карточки по теме «Хобби»

Цель урока

Формирование у обучающихся иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции и универсальных учебных действий  

Планируемые результаты:

предметные

• освоение во всех видах речевой деятельности новых лексических и грамматических единиц по теме «Хобби.Чтение», повторить ранее изученный лексический материал.
• развитие информационной и социокультурной компетенции

личностные

• воспитание толерантного отношения к проявлениям иной культуры;
• развитие стремления к развитию собственной культуры

метапредметные  результаты

• развитие коммуникативных универсальных УУД через все виды речевой деятельности;
• развитие умений самонаблюдения, самоконтроля и самооценки;
• развитие навыков работы с информацией

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент. Самоопределение в деятельности. Мотивация.

Т. Good morning, children. I am glad to see you. Let’s begin our lesson and let’s begin it with the phonetic drill. Look at the board and read these words, all together please. (Слайд 1)

programme; stamp; quarter; perform;  badge; audience; land; ballet; actor;  thematic; also; performer; born; character; catch; perhaps

     T. Look! What sounds are there?          [æ] and [ɔ:] 

        T. Now, Lika, read the word with the sound  [æ] (читает, потом все читают хором)

        T. Asamat, read the words with the sound [ɔ:] (читает, потом все читают хором).

II. Актуализация знаний и умений обучающихся

T. -Let’s have a talk about hobbies. What hobbies do you know?

-What is your favourite hobby?

-Lika, are you a theatre goer?

- Is dancing a hobby?

(Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы)

Т. Let’s do the exercise.    (Слайд 2)

(уч-ся по одному выходят к доске и  вставляют пропущенные слова)

III. Повторение активного лексического материала, развитие монологической речи.

(Работа в парах.)

Т. Now, look. You have cards on your desks. You have to compose pictures with some hobbies. Then read about other hobbies. Those who have it must say: «We have it! »

(У детей разрезанные на несколько частей картинки, они их складывают в рисунок с изображением к-л хобби и читают громко другую карточку с описанием хобби. Остальные внимательно слушают  и реагируют на текст, если у них изображение данного хобби)

What hobby is it? Read and guess.

People like to make new dishes. They often cook for the family and for their friends. They can make salads, meat food and others. (cooking)

This hobby is popular with the people of all ages. People like to go to the stadium or to the sports ground. They are strong and healthy. This hobby helps to develop   mind and body. (sports)

This hobby is interesting and useful. People try to find or buy different things such as stamps, badges, coins, pictures and dolls.  This hobby helps people to make new friends and to learn some new things about countries and lands, animals and birds, famous people and historical events. (collecting)

People like to go to the library. Some of them have a good collection of books at home. And they are really proud of it. They can read different books. Their hobby helps them to relax, to learn the world and understand people better. (reading books)

Some people like to dance. Sometimes they go to special clubs and dance at home. They like to go to discos. (Dancing)

People know many songs and they like to sing. Sometimes they go to the music schools. They like to listen to songs and sing them. (Singing) 

People like to spend their free time near the rivers or lakes. They often go there with their relatives or friends. (Fishing) 

 I know some people who like to watch different kinds of programmers or films on TV. (Watching TV)

IV. Этап изучения  новой лексики, создание проблемной ситуации и нахождение метода ее решения

(Слайд 3) Now read this poem and try to understand it.

The more you know,                     When speaking your mind
The smarter you grow.                         Or making your choice.

The smarter you grow,

T. Is reading a hobby?

А какая может быть книга? Она может быть interesting, uninteresting, for children, about nature and so on.

 And here I have some new words for you.     (Слайд 4)

    T. And where can we see many books, lots of books?

(Прочитали, перевели, повторили)

V. Первичное закрепление лексики. Выполнение пробного задания.

(У всех учащихся имеются карточки с предложениями, за три минуты им надо вставить пропущенные в предложениях новые слова и сдать работы на проверку учителю)

1. L.Tolstoy is  famous for his  ________________. (novels)
2. My mother is fond of reading works of __________________. (fiction)
3. Everything he told was ______________. (true)
4. Nobody likes to read _______________ books. (boring)
5. There is a big _____________________ in our school. (library)

VI. Физкультминутка

Повторяют рифмовку и движения за учителем.

VII. Развитие языковых  навыков.                     (Слайды 5,6)

                        (Работа в группах)  

Группы по 3-4 человека. На столах карточки-по одной строчке из стихотворения. Из них нужно составить куплет стихотворения. Потом стихотворение отрабатывается и задается как домашнее задание.

I like books, I really do -
Books with stories and pictures, too.

Books of birds and things that grow
Books of people we should know.

A Book

A book, I think, is very like
A little golden door.
That takes me into places
Where I’ve never been before.
                 It leads me into fairy land
                 Or countries strange and far.
                 And, best of all, the golden door

Второе стихотворение хором отрабатывается по учебнику (Ex.16, p.77) и задается в качестве домашнего задания.

VIII. Контроль и оценка результатов деятельности.

Рефлексия.

T. Children, travelling is a hobby too. And I want you to travel to the islands. Those who are satisfied with your work at the lesson you may go to the island of Happiness. And those who have questions about the lesson have to go to the island of Hope.
