1)Организационный  момент.

- Good morning, pupils! I’m glad to see you again! Sit down, please. Let’s begin our lesson.  

How are you?  I’m fine too. My dear friends,

-What season is it now?

-P1. It’s autumn.

-Is it cold?

-P2  Yes, it is.

-Is it windy?

-P1 Yes, it is.

2)  Фонетическая    разминка  OK.  You’ll  get more information about  the weather, and now let’s learn a poem « When the weather is…» ,  but before this we’ll read these sounds:

Teacher: I know a short poem about one season. I’ll recite this poem. Try to guess what season this poem is about.

 This is the season
When mornings are dark.
And birds do not sing
In the woods and the park.
This is the season
When children ski.
And Grandfather Frost
Brings the New Year Tree. 

Please, who can translate it? - OK, and now, please, listen to me and repeat after me. Please, mind my intonation.

Итак, ребята,  тема нашего урока:   «My favorite season»

4) Основной этап: You know, in winter a cold weather makes me feel uncomfortable, because I like spring. It’s my favorite season. And what season do you like?

- And what season you don’t like? And why?

Now, pupils, we read the sentences about different seasons, and you must guess and try to answer   the question:  «What about seasons this sentences?»

-Who wants to read?

-P1, P2, P3, P4.

T: Children, look at the text on the interactive whiteboard. Read it and answer   the question.

 It’s winter now. Children like to play snowballs and toboggan. Ann doesn’t like winter, because it’s cold and snowy. Then spring comes. It’s warm and sunny. Ann likes spring, because children play  golf  in the  park. Summer comes.  Ann will dive and swim. She  likes  summer, because  it’s  bright, funny and hot.  At last autumn comes. Children go to school. Ann doesn’t like this season, because It’s  foggy, rainy, wet and cloudy in England».

Задания:

1)    Now choose the correct statement according to the text.  And say :  True or false:

1)  Ann doesn’t  like winter , because it’s cold and snowy.        

2)  Ann likes spring. She plays golf with children  in the park.

3)  In summer the children dive and swim.

4)  Ann doesn’t  like  autumn, because it’s foggy, wet and cloudy.
