                                   Was it Nessie?                

My name is Alan Cockrell. I’m a waiter. When I was young, I worked at a hotel near Loch Ness. It was a good funny time, because I worked with my friends. We lived in a cottage near the hotel. We usually finished our work in the hotel at one o’clock in the morning and then we walked home.

One night in 2009 I worked late. I finished work at two o’clock. I walked home alone, because my friends were already at home. It was a clear night and there was a full moon.

While I was on my way to my cottage, something strange happened. Something appeared in the lake. It was large and black. I stopped and looked at it. The thing moved along the lake. I watched it for about a minute. Then I ran fast to my cottage and took the camera.

But when I returned to the lake, there was nothing there.

I’m sure it was the Loch Ness monster. It was Nessie. I know it was.
