Adventure Story "How are we going to get home?"

How are we going to get home?" - asked Aleksi with worried expression. This is a very simple question but  in this situation, even Jane, who was always able to pull herself together did not know what to say. They had been  nervously glancing  at  their watches for half an hour,until they finally got convinced: they got lost. Ihey both have already known about it, but did not want to believe that they were standing in the desert and there were no people around  them for many  kilometers.

“I know, the Sun can determine in which direction we should  go. Do you remember when we were going out what side was the sun on? "asked Jane hopely.

"Oh, no, I can’t believe it!.. Any other idea? "

“What’s happening?"- cried Jane skocked.

When he turned around he saw a terrible view. The weather changed imperceptibly, the sandstorm was starting. The children understood:

"We need to run".

Jane and Aleksi had never run so fast.

" Look, Jane, it’s a hut under the tree!" exclaimed tke boy happily.

They came to the hut. There was no feeling of uncertainty or curiosity. Inside tke hut was strange enough.The children were captivated... there was too much web, too much strange jars with grass, roots in them...

"Ah, I think..."Aleksi tried to find the rigkt words, but he couldn’t.

The silence was broken by the door creak, tke children turned around. They saw a man of indeterminate age, standing in the door. He was dressed in old, worn-out clothes.

“Who are you? What are you doing here?” he grumbled.

Jane and Aleksi told the man that they had got lost and about the sandstorm.

“0h, no! Get of my back! Do you think I have gone away from the city and  have been living hre alone for nine years to help anybody who asks for my help?!?!” the strange man asked menacingly. "I have already killed two people who disturbed me and I'm going to kill you if you don't go away from here!!!!"

The children rushed out of the hut and fled, they didn’t know where they should have run. They were awfully exhausted, because they spent in the desert the whole day without water.

“Ah!” cried Jane and fall down. She had sprained her leg. Aleksi and Jane had to arrange a halt. Later they saw a helicopter and understood: they were looked for.

Several hours later they were sitting, drinkin? ^ea and telling to their parent friends about their adventures in the desert.        .
