     Learning  a foreign language is not an easy thing . It is a long  and  slow process that takes a lot of time and efforts.

  As we know,some languages are spoken by many people, other languages are spoken by a few people. And what is it about language that makes people so curious ? The answer is that  there is almost nothing in our lives that is not touched by language. We live in and by language. We are all interested in the origin of words, in how they appear and die .      

 At the beginning of the 21st century English is more widely spoken and written than any other language has ever been.So I have a lucky chance to learn it at one of the best schools of Vladikavkaz- schoolNo11 specializing in English

 I began studying English in the second form . I started studying English from the second form . I am the student of the  school  specializing in English. . Irina Valeriyevna was my first English teacher . She was the best teacher I have ever known. But unfortunately,she was my teacher up to the sixth form. I started learning with the ABC,transcription and the sounds.Nowadays I learn new English words, conversational English,phrasal verbs and idioms using them in oral speech, learn dialogues by heart.I read and translate different texts,do exercises,write dictations, essays.,personal letters.

            From lesson to lesson I improve my knowledge of the English grammar.I try to have more practice in speaking . I enjoy my English classes and try to prepare carefully for them.At home I like watching English films on TV and I sometimes read English  adapted books. I hope that soon I’ ll be able to communicate English better.

             English is not an easy language to learn.

             I learn English because I want to commnicate with people from different countries.I dream of visiting England and the USA.

             I want to know English because I have always been interested in English - speaking countries,their cultures, traditions, customs and peoples.I want to learn English practically not only because it is the language of such great countries ,as the USA and Great Britain ,.but to know English today is absolutely necessary for every educated man , for every good specialist. Perhaps I’ll begin studying another language entering  a university
