(T translates the meaning of the expressions: a close family, to get on well with each other). Let’s write down these words into your exercise-books. Now listen and tick new information about Linda’s family with the help of your pencils. What can you say about Linda and her family? What are they?

in-    im-     non       un-

I am going to attach them to the words. (T sticks the cards to the written on the blackboard adjectives).

-Do you see any changes? What is the difference between athletic and non-athletic? Guess the meaning of non-, im-, in-, un- .

(Ss translate the words which have the opposite meaning).

-Find out the meaning of these words. Let’s listen to the tape (ex. 8 p. 44). And now we are going to do ex.9, p.44 and use the dictionary if necessary. You can use these words to describe someone’s character.

(The first 4 Ss come to the blackboard, take cards, exchange them if they want to have another card and comment:

-I would like to be...

-I wouldn’t like to be...)
