1.1 Newton-the great English scientist Isaac Newton was born in the village of Woolsthorpe, England in 1642 . At the time of his admission to the college, he was classified as an outsider-poor students who performed the duties of servants in the college.He built a water clock that measured the time so accurately that soon the whole family began to actively use it. It was Newton who came up with the idea of making the edges of coins ribbed so that scammers could not cut off pieces of metal from them. The technology is still used to this day, however, rather by tradition.

1.2 Newton's contribution to the development of mankind Isaac Newton-the great English scientist, physicist, mathematician, alchemist and astronomer, who made a great contribution to the formation of classical mechanics and modern physics. Newton's most famous discovery was the law of universal gravitation. In addition, he described all physical phenomena based on mechanics and explained the movement of the planets around the Sun and the Moon around the Earth

1.3 Alexander Graham bell – an English scientist Alexander Graham Bell was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on 3 March 1847.The future scientist grew up in an atmosphere of music and reverent attitude to the sounds of the human voice. His mother was hard of hearing.

1.4 Bell's Inventions In 1876, at the World Science Fair in Philadelphia, Bell presented his new invention called the telephone. The scientist is immortalized in his inventions and documentaries, which are based on biographical facts from the life of the genius.

1.5 Richard Trevithick-the steam genius of England Trevithick was born in the city of Tregaron on April 13, 1771. He had a penchant for arithmetic. As a child, he watched steam engines pump water from deep tin and copper mines.

1.6 Richard Trevithick and his inventions Together with Edward Bull, he went through this long journey, which brought results: creating the world's first steam locomotive. The young engineer did not pay attention to the fears of famous colleagues, including the creator of the steam engine Watt, who considered it very dangerous to work with steam engines at high pressure. As Watt wrote, " only a murderer who has no regard for human life can insist on using seven or eight atmospheres of steam."

1.7 Steven Hawking-Theoretical physicist of our time Stephen William Hawking was born on 8 January 1942 in Oxford. Hawking himself said that, as a professor of mathematics, he had never received any mathematical education since high school. In his first year of teaching at Oxford, Hawking read a textbook two weeks ahead of his own students.

1.8 Steven Hawking and his inventions Steven Hawking is one of the most influential and well-known theoretical physicists of our time, one of the founders of quantum cosmology. Hismajor achievements are application of thermodynamics to the description of black holes, the development in 1975 of the theory that black holes "evaporate" due to a phenomenon called Hawking radiation .

How amazing our planet is, so many unseen things have yet to be discovered by scientists and inventors. Thanks to the inventors I mentioned in the project, we live in such an innovative world, where there are all the amenities for a comfortable human life.

During doing my project I did a survey among students 5-7 forms and based on the results of my survey , I can conclude that my topic is relevant at the moment , because students would like to know more facts about outstanding people of Great Britain .
