Animals in the World War II Bravery, frienship, patriotism , mutual help were displayed . They were shown not only by people but also by animals especially, our four- legged friends - the dogs.

T he first days During the war the dogs worked as messengers and medical stuff, as the field engineers and scouts. Over 60 thousand of dogs took part in different activities during the war.

The dogs attack During the battle a lot of enemies were killed and some tanks were blown up. So the commander sent the dogs to attack German soldiers.

T he monument The day before the 9th of May 2003 the monument in honour of the soldiers and their four - legged friends was installed.

Djulbars-dog veteran of World War II detected mines in the Danube palaces, castles and cathedrals of Prague and Vienna, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and Austria. Djulbars found 7.468 mines and more than 150 shells.
