В данной проектной работе уч-ся должны были представить одного из известных художников и описать его картину, используя по максиму лексику по изученной теме. Защита творческих работ уч-ся проходила в присутствии большого количетва уч-ся и оценивалась жюри (учителя английского языка) в качестве конкурсной работы. Анна стала победителем конкурса. Представленный ею Илья Репин и его картина "Иван Грозный" получили высокую оценку жюри.

One of his most famous paintings is "Ivan Grozny and His Son Ivan Nove16, 1581", 1885,The State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow. In the foreground we can see Ivan the Terrible, who in a fit of anger struck a mortal blow to the Prince. Tsar Ivan is dressed in a monk's black clothes. The tsar`s scared face, expresses fear and madness ,his eyes, looking at nothing makes us panic. He keeps dying prince's head with his left hand, through which red blood flowing, trying to plug the hand wound on the head of his son. On the carpet we can see the staff, which became the murder weapon.

In 1913, Repin's painting has suffered from a knife of an old believer icon painter named Abram Abramovich Balashov . He inflicted three stab the faces depicted shouting "Enough blood! Down with blood! ". He was placed in a mental home.

The sketch of the picture. From the Repin`s memories known that the thought of painting originated with him in connection with the March 1881 events, namely a bomb shrapnel which killed Tsar Alexander II. Later, the idea of writing a picture of "Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan" came up with the artist, as he was returning from a concert of Rimsky-Korsakov, inspired by the symphonic suite " Antar ".
