“It should be mandatory for all young people to volunteer to help protect the environment”

If you are a typical young person today, you used to know a lot about environmental problems. Such problems are discussed everywhere: in the internet, on TV, in the newspapers, on the radio. In my opinion, it is a good idea for teenagers to be a part of a team which aim is to protect the environment.

Firstly, some youngsters help to protect the environment according to their own will. There are many volunteer organisations, which youngsters join in, for example UOP (Union for Nature Preservation Movement). It is a youth organization, which unites students from all the regions of our country for nature protection. One of the well-known organisations is Greenpeace, whose main idea to keep our planer alive.

Secondly, such movements are developed at school now. Every school in our town has its own teens` ecological union. Great many of actions, events are hold annually, for example “March of the young ecologists”, where pupils together with their teachers plant trees.

On the other hand, there are those who do not want to do it. They say that it is not their problems and they are not going to solve it. They think there are many other people who will volunteer to help protect the environment. Such people think that their help will not be useful for our nature.  

In conclusion, teenagers wish to volunteer should origin from the family. I think if the young people decide to volunteer to help protect the environment, they will save not only the planet, but their children`s future.
