William Shakespeare (1564-1616) Biography. The great English playwright, poet and actor. Born in the family of a craftsman. At a young age he became an actor and then a playwright in London.

By age 30 he poem "Venus and Adonis" was written, then "Lucretia". These works first made famous by Shakespeare. At the same time they were written 154 sonnets, as well as pieces from the history of England - "Henry VI of", "Richard III of" comedy - "The Comedy of Errors," "The Taming of the Shrew" and the tragedy "Titus Andronicus."
