It was winter. It was the happiest day for all children in the world because it was the Christmas Eve. Children were playing snowballs, making snowmen, enjoying a Christmas tree in the middle of the central square and waiting for dream gifts.

All children were happy but not Kevin. He was an orphan. He had no clothes and food. And he didn’t expect to get any gifts. Nobody loved him, he was very lonely. But he didn’t envy other children. He was kind-hearted. He loved all the world.

Suddenly he noticed two boys. They were coming nearer and nearer. Kevin was frightened very much bacause he was shy, you see. He was surprised they didn’t begin fighting. They were very polite and invited him to celebrate this great holiday with their families. He couldn’t help crying. Frosen tears dropped from his eyes. He couldn’t believe his happiness. He agreed with a joy.

He had a time of his life. It was a real miracle. You may believe it or not but on the Christmas Eve incredible miracles happen.
