Do you know that British and Continental humor is quite different? If you do not know this, then this book is for you.

I have chosen this book to understand better not only to the British humor but to be acquainted with the British life style. I am planning to visit the British Isles this summer and I would not like to get a culture shock. The language of the book is rather easy and entertaining, so I enjoyed reading it. The author gives us many examples of the British people’s life. Though, you shouldn’t forget that it is a humorous book and it is better to accept, as it is. To my mind, I think that it is informative and useful for those who learn English, especially for the teenagers, who does not know much about the English character.

Moreover, reading this book, you understand that a many stereotypes maybe destroyed when you visit the country.

In conclusion, I would recommend this book to all the teenagers, as well as adults, who learn the language.
