Семья - основа жизни.

             Family  plays  a  gr eat role in the life of the people. I think the word ‘family’ means the  main one for every person. In my opinion people must have their own homes where they can come back from school or work. When I think of my family I imagine a warm atmosphere, a tasty dinner and a comfortable flat.

            I have got a family. We are five: my mother, my little brother, my grandparents and me. Unfortunately, my father died three weeks ago. He was only thirty-six. He was an engineer. He was a very kind and cheerful man. We loved him very much and he loved us very deeply too. I think my father was the most wonderful and exciting father anybody ever had. I love my mother very much because she is the nearest and dearest person for me now. She is thirty-four. She was a shop-assistant. At the moment she is a house-wife because she is looking after my little brother. He is only two. He is a funny and intelligent boy. I help my mother to look after him. I think ‘mothe’ is the name of all things which are dearest to people. I feel how warm my mother’s hands are. Her hands learned me to walk and her hands take care of us day and night. I try to help my mother about the house. We spend much time together. In the evenings we discuss my school problems. She always helps me with my homework. My mum is a good adviser for me.

              I’m very glad that my grandparents live together with us. They are pensioners. They are very kind and responsive and they love us, their grandchildren. My grandparents do many good things for us.

              And now there are some words about me. My name is Lilya. I am in the eleventh form now. I wrote this composition when I was thirteen years old. I am interested in reading books. I like school and I study at school with great pleasure. I am very proud of my family. I think I am a very happy girl because all the members of my family helped me after the death of my father. I am sure a person must not be alone. To my mind all people must live together with their families.

             Nowadays there are over three million homeless children. I hate people who leave their children in the shelters. In my future I’d like to help homeless children.
