       Many students think that summer is the best time of the year. I agree with them. I was on the island Crete. It is wonderful. It is long, but narrow. Crete is the largest and most populous of the Greek islands. We lived in a hotel Mitsis Serita Beach near Hersonissos.
We arrived on September 28 in Greece.

          To begin with, that I liked the hotel. It is very beautiful. First and foremost, a journey has educational advantages because it offers a lot of opportunities to learn about the world and one’s own place in it. I think that due to travel, you can get to know the world better. After all when we travel, we learn a lot about different countries and their culture. We have visited different places and have been impressed by their beauty and uniqueness. We have met new people, tried new unusual dishes. 

  But, the journey can in fact be harmful as it interrupts with the rhythm of learning and often makes it difficult for students to return to their studies. One should, however, not forget that unfortunately not every young person can afford to travel around the world and many of them end up sitting around at home.

                 All in all, the journey may arouse mixed feelings. Summing up I can say that my journey was very enjoyable and informative.  And I wish everybody to take a great interest in this kind of hobby and to learn culture and traditions of other countries and people.
