This summer I spent 9 days in Scandinavia. I was in Finland, Sweden and Norway. Most days I was in Norway. I traveled with my mom and older sister.

The trip started in Helsinki - the capital of Finland. We walked around the Senate Square and the waterfront. An hour later, our bus went to Turku. Turku is a very old town with a castle. In the evening we boarded the ferry to Sweden. On arrival in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, we went to Norway.

      After 4 hours, we had a tour of the capital Oslo visiting the Frogner Park, Oslo City Hall and The Oslo Opera House in the form of large blocks of ice.

Now begins the real Norway, a country of northern nature, mountains, fjords and waterfalls. A fjord is a long, narrow inlet with steep sides or cliffs, created in a valley carved by glacial activity. Bergen is the capital of the fjords. We walked around the old Hanseatic wharf and climbed the mountain 320 meters. The whole city at a glance!

On the morning after we visited the house-museum of composer Edvard Grieg, went to the waterfall Tvidenfossen and drove along the longest tunnel in the world - 24.5 km! The next day we walked 2.5 km to the glacier Briksdal. It was cold, but it's worth it!

Alesund is no less interesting city. Here an aquarium is the best in the country with tropical and freshwater fish, rays, crabs, and even penguins.  Not far is the most interesting way - Trollstigen. The road is very steep and dangerous!

We saw the largest in Norway lake Messa, visited museums Kon-Tiki, Fram and Viking ships in Norway. I liked more the Kon-Tiki Museum. It houses vessels and maps from the Kon-Tiki expedition, as well as a library with about 8000 books.

 In Sweden, there was a bus and walking tour of Stockholm with a visit to the Royal palace. It rarely opens. I think we are very lucky. From Sweden we sailed on a ferry Galaxy to Finland and from there home. So I spent my summer adventure.

Despite the cold summer weather, I spent these days wonderful and I hope to return soon to the most beautiful country of the northern nature of Norway.
