“All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players”
The author of this phrase is the famous English poet and playwright William Shakespeare. To agree or disagree with this phrase is very difficult. On the one hand – “yes, it is”. Between a theater and a human life there are many similarities. For example: the birth of a person can be compared to the first appearance of an actor on the stage. The end of acting can be compared to a person’s death, the way when an actor changes roles in performances is similar to the way any person changes masks depending on the situation. A person always behaves differently. And of course, in life a person can, like an actor, submit to his fate, follow a scenario that someone had written for him without making any changes. But on the other hand - “no, it is not so”. Every person is not an actor, but a director of his life. With each act, with each made decision, every person changes his life. Those who believe that nothing in life depends on them but depends on the will of God, will agree with William Shakespeare, those who think otherwise will not agree. As for me, I want to believe that I create my life myself, I want to believe that nobody rules me and my actions.
