directions of feminism Intersectional feminism Feminists of the 1960s and 1970s were often accused of protecting exclusively women and ignoring other social groups that were also subject to violence and hatred. That is why a movement that asserts that there is no "universal female experience “ has developed. Forms of oppression of different social groups, such as racism or extremism, face each other. Liberal feminism It is believed that this direction is a legacy of suffragism. As you know, suffragettes defended the right to vote for women, and liberal feminists went even further. They fought and continue to fight for women to have the same rights as men in everything – In education, career , participation in politics. But more than anything, liberal feminists want to get a law that will stop any discrimination.

Pop-feminism In other words, the movement for women's rights in popular culture. You have probably seen the performances of the famous Hollywood Actresses who have talked about women's rights and inequality. Or you know about the "Time's Up" movement, which was launched by Hollywood stars in order to tell about cases of violence in the film industry and call for accountability of the guilty men. Celebrities have started talking about injustice against women. Pop feminism is also about advertising sports brands about strong women and slogans on t-shirts like "We all should be feminist". Thanks to this trend, feminism is always on the radar . And it is necessary to mention new films, TV shows, cartoons and books which tell young woman about women’s strength, bravery and intelligence.

Lipstick, or lipstick feminism This name was chosen for good reason – in the 1940s, red lipstick was considered a real challenge to society: previously, it was used only by women with a bad reputation. In the postwar period, many women began to wear red and they were often condemned for that. The movement was named after these brave ladies. Now representatives of lipstick feminism defend the right of a girl to look glamorous and feminine – to wear dresses, heels, long hair, bright make-up, do cosmetic procedures and even plastic surgery, if she wants it. The idea of lipstick feminism is that a woman can look the way she likes, even if her ideas fit into old fashioned standards of beauty.

Product of the project The product of my project is a brochure, where I collected the best women’s quotes about women. The authors of these quotes are politicians, writers, actresses and singers, but they are all women, who care about lives of other women, they are all feminists. And I think these quotes can help to understand the sense of the feminist movement better that means they help me to reach the aim of my project – brake popular myths about feminism.

Conclusion In conclusion of my work I would like to say that unfortunately in some countries feminism is considered as something that ruins traditional values and has a bad influence on young people. And if some of those people who listened to my project had had a low opinion about this movement before, I hope that maybe they changed it. Of course, I can not make everyone in this world understand, that most of the myths about feminism are not true, that women who call themselves feminists are not all aggressive and lonely, that most of them have families, that they don’t hate men and when somebody takes care of them. I want to believe that one day all people will understand that feminists fight for the right things, such as equal wages for men and women or the opportunity for girls in every country to get education. Someone can say that I am just a 15-years-old girl who has a lot of free time. But I am the teenager of the 21st century, and it means a lot. Nowadays teenagers grow up much faster than 20 years ago. Maybe I don’t know many things about this world yet, but I know one thing exactly. I AM A FEMINIST. Though I don’t talk about politics and rights, but I want to talk about discrimination of women and I want to fight against all prejudices relating to a phrase “happy woman”. A really happy woman has a choice of ways to become happy. That’s what is called freedom. And that is what the feminist movement is about.
