Where Is Cheburashka’s Motherland?
Cheburashka, one of the most favourite characters from our childhood, appeared in 1966. Even if someone did not read the book by Eduard Uspensky, they watched the cartoon about Cheburashka and his friends and knew all the songs from this film. In 2014 Cheburashka was given a second life, it became the symbol of the Russian Olympic Team. By the way a few people think about such an animal. Nobody knows what kind of animal it is and how it appeared in Russia. Cheburashka’s author didn’t give any information about the mystery of its birth and the place, where it lived, Objective: To determine the possible homeland of Cheburashka and its nearest relatives.

Compare the habitat described in the book with the peculiarities of its external data; 3. Compare the description of the appearance of Cheburashka with the existing ones in wild nature and determine the possible habitat of the animal.
