«Какая книга лучше: печатная или электронная»
Работа посвящена анализу предпочтения учащихся лицея в использовании книг на электронных носителях. Актуальность данной темы несомненна. 21 век является веком кибернетики и информационных технологий. Инновации затронули все сферы деятельности человека, не обошли стороной и бумажную книгу, которая из покон веков была надежным источником информации. Молодое поколение отдаёт предпочтение чтению книг в электронном виде. Учителя же наоборот выступают против этих книг.

Urgency The choice of our research theme is predetermined by the active using of e-books in people's lives. And it happens because the 21st century is the century of Cybernetics and information technology. This innovation has affected all spheres of human activity.
The hypothesis of our research is : nowadays children prefer reading e-books while most grown-ups read printed books.
The purpose of this research is: to examine why e-books are mostly popular among young people and teenagers.
The tasks of our research are: to examine, analyze, and summarize available information on the topic; to identify positive and negative aspects of e-books, comparing it to traditional book in paper binding; to examine how widely used e-books among the pupils of our Lyceum; to conduct a survey; to draw conclusions.
The methods of our research are: questionnaire; studying the literature on the problem; charting; processing and analysis of getting results.
Conclusion In the given work the hypothesis of our research was proved : nowadays children prefer reading e-books while most grown-ups read printed books. The purpose and the tasks were reached. The reasons why children give their preference to e-books while most grown-ups prefer reading printed are following: 1. children use e-books for their education and entertainment; 2. they think that e-books are more convenient than printed ones; 3. an e-book can include a lot of books; 4. printed books are heavier than e-books; 5. using e-books in their studies is interesting and great fun.
