In the middle of XVII century the English architect Inigo Jones suggested that Stonehenge was built the ancient Romans. Some of the scientists of the middle ages believed that Stonehenge was built Swiss or German. In the beginning of the XIX century established version of Stonehenge as the sanctuary of the druids.
