Territory of the victory park Poklonnaya Gora on Mozhayskaya Road, is located to Entrerios of the rivers Setuni and Filki , between present Minskaya Street in the West and the area In park avenues are laid: military izhener , operators, pilots, tankmen , gunners, avenue of the world, veterans of war and work, avenue of young heroes, avenue of newlyweds. On avenues the linden, a maple, an oak, a birch, a mountain ash, a fir-tree, a pine are landed; flower beds, fountains are arranged. History of the “ Poklonaja Gora” On February 23, 1958 on Poklonnaya Gora the memorable granite sign with an inscription was established: "Here the monument of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941 — 1945 will be built". Then around planted trees, put park which called by the Victory name, the territory was used as natural park, a place of festivities, ski walks in winter time. In 1968 near park the Triumphal arch in honor of release from Napoleonic invasion in 1812 was recreated . In the 1990th years, by day of the 50 anniversary of the Victory, the memorial complex of the Victory was constructed.
