“Calendar” - “a deb t book”. The first days were called the “Calends”.

The modern word “Calendar” means a printed or electronic publication that looks like a table, a list or a book and contains a serial enumeration of days of the year.

The name of September came from the word ” Septem ”, which meant “seven”. October came from the Latin number “ Octo ”, which meant “eight”. Slaves called this month as “Fall of the leaves ”. November has the root of “ Novem ” which was translated as “Ninth ”. December is the first winter month and the last month outgoing year, but, it was named after its ordinal number “ Desem ”.
