“Advantages and disadvantages of being famous”

Popularity seems to be attractive and desirable for many people, but being famous has both positive and negative aspects. What is better: to be an ordinary person or to be a celebrity?  Let us look at the advantages and disadvantages of being famous and try to answer this question.

On the one hand, being famous is great. One of the main advantages of fame is that popular people have a lot of money, so they do not have economic problems. As a result, famous people enjoy a better lifestyle than ordinary people, because they have luxurious houses, expensive cars and other things. Furthermore, famous people have a lot of friends, because everyone wants to meet them.

But on the other hand, their life is not as good as it seems. One of the problems of popular people is that their fans usually see them as ideal people. This image is the result of the work of stylists, producers, and is not always the true identity of a famous person. Camera and people follow celebrities, journalists write a lot about them and often give away their secrets; that is why they must be careful of every word and always care about how they look. In addition, fans are not as agreeable as it might seem. From the constant attention it is very easy to get tired and want to be alone. What is worse, some crazy fans may be a threat to your family.
To sum up, popularity is not only autographs, interviews, but also a lot of stress, which can lead to the desire to be alone. I am sure that it is better to be an ordinary man enjoying your hobby than to have a lot of fans and lack of private life. A person can achieve great success without having a lot of fans, money and life for show.
