Cathedral of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God Founded in August 26, 1761 in a style of a transition from baroque to classicism. The icon of the Mother of God is the main shrine of Orthodox Russia. According to legend, it was written by St. Luke on the board of the table on which Jesus Christ had his meals. The bell tower was designed by Quarenghi. Last years of his life Fyodor Dostoevsky was a parishioner of the church. In April 7, 1990 it was consecrated by Metropolitan.

Cathedral of St. Andrew In July 1761 the church was burnt down by lightning. New stone cathedral was founded in 1764 by Alexander F. Vista. Only in 1781 the church was completely sanctified, The cathedral was closed in summer 1938. But it was protected by the state as the architectural monument, Carved iconostasis of the XVII century is still preserved there. I n 1992 the cathedral of St. Andrew was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church

Peter and Paul Cathedral in Peterhof The cathedral was built in 1895 by the architect N. Sultanov and approved by Alexander III. Consecration of the cathedral took place in 1905. In 1938 the church was closed. Like many other monuments of Peterhof the building was severely damaged during the war. The northern part of the cathedral was destroyed . After the war, the church was used as a storage of containers. In 1974 the cathedral was taken under state protection as a monument of history and culture.In 1990 the restoration works were made. In July 9, 1994 the church was completely consecrated by Patriarch Alexiy II.
