MY FAVOURITE FILM DIRECTOR
The most important thing about shooting films is, of course, directing. The director is the most important figure in the process except scriptwriter and the actors. The name Steven Spielberg is famous worldwide.
Steven Allan Spielberg was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to a Jewish family in 1946. His mother, Leah Adler was a restaurateur and concert pianist, and his father, Arnold Spielberg, was an electrical engineer. He spent his childhood in New Jersey. Throughout his early teens, Spielberg made amateur 8 mm "adventure" films with his friends, the first of which he shot at a restaurant. He charged admission (25 cents) to his home films while his sister sold popcorn.
