Cats
Cats is a spellbinding musical which is based on the Eliot’s children poems and composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It was first shown in London in 1981. The story tells us about the magnetical tribe of cats called «Jellicles”. They get together and decide which of the cat will ascend to the cat’s paradise.
This musical holds the spectator’s attention right up to the final. Its plot is meticulously constructed and has grapping narratives. What’s more, the scene is a single entity with the Hall and with the help of the greatest music the whole picture is completed.
As for the characters, they are perfectly chosen and each of them is appropriate to this play. The main condition for the actors was to be very plastic yo better convey the real nature of cats. It is fairly to say, that all of them cope with it for all reason. Designers try to make an individual and specific costum for every actor to help the audience better recognize the fate and nature of cats.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend to see this act to everyone from the child to adult not just to enjoy the professional acting but to imagine yourself as a real cat for some time.
