Time: 10 – 15 minutes
Procedure:
- Divide the class into three groups or groups of three. Assign a turn to each student in a group;
Example: Group1 – Ariel (1st turn), Tasha (2nd turn), Anna (3rd turn), Mark (last turn)
- Cut the picture in the worksheets. Stick the pieces of picture around the class.
- Ask all groups to prepare a set of crayon or color pencils.
- Tell students to grab the correct pictures which color Teacher calls out and to bring it to their groups.
Example: Teacher – “Orange!”
Students – pick picture of a pumpkin
- Tell all group to prepare coloring each picture taken by their color hunter.
- Say “BINGO” as soon as they’re done coloring.
- Objective: Each group must race. The winner is the group that finishes coloring the quickest.
Follow-up Activity:
- Prepare word cards – color.
- Discuss the color of each picture.
- Tell students to stick the pictures they colored on a piece of paper and write the color next to it.
- Put the group work on the pin-up board.
