Punks. Young people who dress in a shocking way to express their identity ( who somebody is). They have brightly coloured hair and wear metal chains.

They are thought to rebel (protest) against the society or the older generation. The music is aggressive. They reject (say no to) everything.

Hippies. Some classify there people like drug users and rock and roll fans (especially if they are both!), since their behaviour and attitudes differ from social norms.

They don’t conform (don’t keep) to society’s standards and support a liberal attitude and lifestyle. They accepr ofter people as they are. They always want to change the world for the best.

Hackers. They are the ‘wizards’ (persons with extraordinary abilities) of the computer community ; people with a deep understanding of how their computers work.

Can do things with them that seem ‘magical’ to express themselves. They do not protest against their parents.

Ravers. These are the folks who use computer-made, synthesized music, and drugs to create massive all-night dance parties in empty warehouses. They like to be in a collective.

They want to try out all sort of options (to test all things that they can choose) and are thought to be violent (showing strong physical force) and rebellious.

Bikers. All persons who ride 2 or sometimes 3 wheeled motorised vehicles and who identify themselves with a particular (special) subculture. They usually wear leather jackets and army boots.
