Life of Bob Marley Bob Marley (Robert Nesta Marley) was born on February 6, 1945 in Nine Mile, died - May 11, 1981, Miami - Jamaican musician, guitarist, singer and composer. Bob Marley is still the best-known performer of reggae. Thanks to his international success reggae gained wide popularity outside of Jamaica.
