on a happy holiday!!!

Eternal flame,

The eternal flame. Alexandrovsky garden.

Eternal memory to the heroes.

Who was he, the unknown soldier,

Adored great country?

Maybe he was still a young cadet,

Or a simple militia.

Maybe killed because he didn’t stand  up

on his knees before the enemy .

Maybe in the attack he was in full growth,

A stray bullet killed him.

Or he was an unknown sailor,

The one who was killed in the helm.

Maybe he was a pilot, maybe he was in the tank;

It is not important.

We will never read this sheet,

The triangle paper.

The eternal flame. Alexandrovsky garden.

The monument to the thousands of lives.

The eternal flame is the memory of the soldiers,

Honestly serving the Motherland.
