A story about really good friends

Once upon a time there lived two friends – a squirrel and a mouse. They lived in a forest. They were very small and happy. Together they collected nuts and cones. A squirrel made jam from cones. When it began getting cold, friends liked to sit near the fireplace eating jam and talking with each other. A lot of different animals lived in the forest: a bear, a hedgehog, a rabbit, a nightingale and others. All of them sometimes visited the house of the squirrel and the mouse.

One day the mouse fell ill. She could only lie in bed and be melancholy. The squirrel called a doctor He looked at him and said that he needed more joy.

Animals decided to help the mouse. They came to visit their friend and began to entertain poor mouse. The Bear began to sing and dance, the Hedgehog got some delicious apples and gave them to the mouse, the rabbit sewed a beautiful dress for her and the nightingale wrote a marvelous melody specifically for her. The Mouse forgot about her illness very quickly. Her friends helped her and now the mouse is always ready to help her friends because she understood how important the friendship was.
