The history of my family.
One autumn evening I was sitting on the sofa and watching the film. I do not remember the name, but the point was that the girl she was an orphan found an old photo album, there were the pictures of her and some photographs of unknown people, but apparently they were very similar. Were they her relatives? She decided to find out this fact and looked for information about her ancestors.
I was very interested in this film and asked herself “ Who am I? Who am I look like?Who were my relatives?” But looking in the mirror, I could see only green-brown eyes, a snub nose, long eyelashes and full lips slightly. After hearing the doorbell, I rushed to open the door. There were my parents. Looking closer at them, I saw the familiar features: dad s green-brown eyes and a pug nose, and my mother s long eyelashes and exactly the same mouth as my. I began to wonder: "And whom do they look like? During the supper I asked my parents about the history of my family. And that's some facts I managed to find out.
It turns out that my mother's roots come from Siberia and daddy - from Denmark. My dad s mother, Tit Nadezhda Ivanovna, was a small woman with a good health. Dad is almost an exact copy of her. My grandmother had a very hard life. As a child she lived in Belarus and remembered how the Germans came to their village, kicked them out of the house, and my grandmother's family had to live in the barn. Later the women and children were sent to a concentration camp in Germany. Nadezhda Ivanovna was 3 years old, when she was in a concentration camp. There were only children. She told me that the Germans jeered at them. Often the children had to clear fields from the mines : children at one end of the field, the Germans on the other. Fritz showed chocolate or bread, and hungry children were running across the field and exploded. My grandmother miraculously survived, but she remembered about it all her life.
Besides Nadezhda Ivanovna there are other my relatives took part in World War II.
On my father's side - my great-grandfather (father's grandfather) Tit Andrian. He was killed in 1942 in the Battle for Moscow. He served in the special unit created by Stalin's personal order. Не was a sniper.
Great-grandfather from my mother's side, Kozlov Nikolai Antonovich went through the whole war. He returned home in 1946. All of his chest was in awards and medals.
The second great-grandfather from my mother's side - Suntcov Nicholai Nikolaevich . He joined the army in 1939. At the beginning of 1941 he was wounded and was get captured for about 3 years. First in a concentration camp in Poland, then in Austria. In captivity he helped in the kitchen and many were fed by him. He was one of the few who survived. He served in the 110 Infantry Division and was a paratrooper. After his release he worked as a clerk in a military unit. He returned home in 1946. He could not speak about the war because it was very difficult for him. And if you ask him about the war his eyes are full of tears.
This information is passed from fathers to their children, and we try to keep this connection between generations. From my point of you everyone should know the history of your family. To know in order to tell it your children your descendants . I am proud of my ancestors, they had to live a hard life, sacrificed their lives for us, for our future.
