Importance of Understanding Once upon a time, there lived a big Bear Larry in the magic country English Grammar. It was beautiful country with rivers, parks and gardens. There lived magic animals, which were able to speak English. However, lions communicated only with lions, bears with bears, rabbits with rabbits and they did not meet with other species. Every group of animals could speak English using only one grammar rule. At first, they were happy, they arranged games, went hunting, celebrated holidays. Next animals began to quarrel because they could not understand each other.

One day Larry was going to fish , but he could not do it without fishing rod. Larry asked bears to help him but nobody did it because of misunderstanding. The Bear took basket and went alone to Lake Magic. There he met the hedgehog with fishing rod. Hi! I am Liam, said hedgehog. What are you going to do? I would like to fish but I do not have any fishing rod. What about you? I am not going to fish. I am going to mushroom . Give me your basket, please. You can take my fishing rod. They changed their things and began to do what they want. Therefore, Larry caught many fish and Liam gathered many mushrooms. Liam and Larry cooked those fish and mushrooms and ate them together. They changed not only their things; they changed their grammar rules too. They learnt that it is very important to understand each other. Friends told other animals about it. Now, our hero Larry has a friend, hedgehog Liam. They are going to spend a nice time together. They are going to talk, to listen to each other, to have a cup of tea.

Hello! My name is Elmira. Some days ago I saw the tasks of “Funny Rules” competition. I was interested in them. I thought that it would be funny to write my own poem and fairy tale. When I finished my work I was very happy because it was really difficult to do it, especially the poem. I should create a rhyme using the grammar rule “to be going to”. However, I have overcome difficulties and done my work. I think that it is easier to learn a grammar rule in such interesting and unusual form.
