Esheley is in Danger!

Seas and oceans cover about 70% of the surface of the Earth. It is a great amount of water and it seems that there is no need to worry about it. However only 3% of the Earth`s water is fresh drinking water. That is why we should take care of all the rivers and lakes we have.

Our pond Eshelay needs care and protection. In summer every day hundreds of residents from Kargal and nearby villages rest near Esheley. The water is deep and fresh. That’s why people like to swim and sunbathe here. Esheley was used not only for swimming but fishing. There they were fishing from spring to summer.  Poachers tried to catch fish not only with fishing roads but they used fishing nets and even dynamite. Fish has disappeared.

As a result grass, algae began to grow not only on the beaches where was not deep but also in the middle of the pond where the depth was up to 5 meters.    

The problem is that the people are dropping the litter in the pond and on the banks of the pond.

But I think that local authorities don’t realize the damage these waste do to the environment of the village. I’m sure it is not too late now to improve the situation. We should clean our pond from time to time, take out all the litter out of water, place bins on the banks, and prohibit cars there, fine for littering. We should give a live to carps and gudgeons.
