     There are many famous people who are well-known all over the world. They are famous for their books, pictures and works of art or in the field of science. I’m going to tell you about an average person who lives with me - my grandmother. She is worth being spoken about, indeed. She is a wonderful person and I really admire her and would like to be like her. I want all people in our town to know about my Granny.

     Since her childhood she learnt well at school and was good at sports. But she found time for her younger brothers and sisters looking after them, too. After school she became an obstetrician-gynecologist. Some years she worked in Germany as her husband, my grandfather, served in the army there in those days.  As a true wife my Granny followed her young husband to Germany.

     When they came back to Shakhunya, my Granny continued working as an obstetrician-gynecologist in our local hospital till she retired. Her job was full of really shocked and unpleasant moments that could frighten my Granny not to have her own children. But fortunately, she had two sons, one of them was my Dad. As a pensioner my Granny was near my Granddad taking care of him.

One day my grandfather was attacked and bitten by bees in their apiary and became very ill. For 12 years he is paralyzed and my Granny takes care of him every day, helps him a lot, doesn’t leave him in this great trouble.

  Facing such a problem many people send such disabled into a special place but my Granny doesn’t! I love my Granny a lot and am proud of everything she has done and does in her life. No doubt, my Granny influences my life being so heroic with her dearest person throughout all her life. I’m very thankful her for her care, love and wisdom she has for all of us. My Granny is a heroin, indeed! She is an example for all people to follow! (339 слов)
