"The book in my life"

Some people say that the first real acquaintance with a book always happens by accident, although in the house where he was brought up there were maybe a lot of  books. It had happened to me. I met a book not by chance. On New Year’s Day my mother gave me a big children's encyclopedia. It was purple, very bright. It was such an interesting book that I immediately sat down to read. There was written about sports, planets, space, professions and so on. I have known that the compass needle always points North,  the desert can bloom, kangaroos and koalas also feed their cubs milk, the comet tail length is many millions of kilometers and other interesting facts.  I liked this book very much, she has opened the door to the big world for me.

I often use the books during preparing to my lessons. I find necessary information in them, make my reports and write essays.

To my mind the book is the wonderful world of transformation and the teacher, whom we never parted with.
